  • Retired hospital administrator, Manager of the Regional Trauma Program at a large teaching hospital in London, ON. Currently reside on the largest freshwater island in the world,  Manitoulin Island
  • Involved in the sport of purebred dogs since 1976
  • Bred and showed Irish Setters and Smooth Fox Terriers – bred Irish Setters under the Ballyboy prefix and Smooth Fox Terriers under both the Ballyboy prefix and Fauxpaw prefix (co-bred with Joe & Janet Lobb)
  • Owner handled my dogs most of the time with consistent success – #2 Smooth Fox Terrier in Canada, Group and BIS wins.
  • Also owned and showed a Keeshond and Pointers. Currently share life with a Pointer and a Miniature Wire-haired Dachshund
  • Judging since 1997 – licensed by the Canadian Kennel Club for All Breeds
  • A member of the Canadian Dog Judges Association and was the founding secretary of that organization holding the position for almost 10 years; currently serving as a Director at large
  • Memorable judging assignments include the Ontario All Pointing Breed Specialty Show, Brittany Club of Canada Specialty Show, Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club of Canada Specialty Show, Belgian Shepherd Dog Regional Specialty Show, Rideau Terrier Club and have judged internationally in Australia
  • Hobbies include quilting, gardening, golf, curling and reading
